OTF Social Media Course

Spending three days at an OTF Social Media Workshop along with Jennifer and 28 or so new friends. Had a great first day learning more about twitter and blogging. So much great information to learn and lots of tips and tricks to make our tweeting experiences more enjoyable.

Second morning warm up is to write a brief blog using using Wordpress.

    I'm excited to hear all about what the Social Media course had to share, as it's an area of interest to me as well. From what my colleagues had to say about ISTE10, Social Media was the unofficial focus of the entire conference.

    The course was great!! Yes, there was attention paid to social media, Twitter, in particular.
    We were also introduced to several web 2.0 apps that we could further explore on our own.
    Considerable attention was given to copyright issues and we were educated on Creative Commons.
    Both Jennifer and I learned a great deal. I now "tweet" regularly and am continuing to learn and expand my "technological expertise" on a daily basis!
